Mars InSight’s Mission by NASA

Recently NASA started a surface operation in mars. its called “InSight’s Mission“. which will be the first to staring the interior of mars. After a 205-day journey through space, NASA’s InSight lander is safely on the surface of Mars.

InSight launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California on May 5, 2018. After a six-month cruise, InSight landed on Mars on Nov. 26, 2018, at 11:52:59 a.m. PT (2:52:59 p.m. ET) and began Mars surface operations.

Insight  must place place its heat flow and physical properties packages (HP3) and  and seismic experiment for interior structure (SEIS) on the surface, in direct contact with mars in order to take the “vital signs” of mars.

Insight will start to collect some science data first week after landing. RISE, the rotation and interior Structure Experiment, begins collecting data a few days after landing
