சுட்டுப்பெயர்கள் – වාක්යයක් [vākyayak] – Pronouns

Pronouns : a word that can function as a noun phrase used by itself and that refers either to the participants in the discourse (e.g. Iyou ) or to someone or something mentioned elsewhere in the discourse (e.g. sheitthis ).

We will start with the subject pronouns since it’s the most used of the 4 forms that you might come across or use very often. The table contains 4 columns (English, Sinhala, pronunciation in Tamil, Tamil). Make sure you repeat each word by reading the pronunciation. That should help with memorization as well as improving your pronunciation.
