சுட்டுப்பெயர்கள் – වාක්යයක් [vākyayak] – Pronouns
Pronouns : a word that can function as a noun phrase used by itself and that refers either to the participants in the discourse (e.g. I, you ) or to someone or something mentioned elsewhere in the discourse (e.g. she, it, this ).
We will start with the subject pronouns since it’s the most used of the 4 forms that you might come across or use very often. The table contains 4 columns (English, Sinhala, pronunciation in Tamil, Tamil). Make sure you repeat each word by reading the pronunciation. That should help with memorization as well as improving your pronunciation.

Possessive Pronouns Sinhala
Now we will discuss the possessive pronoun also called possessive determiners which is very straightforward and self explanatory. You use it when you want to express that something belongs to you but usually it comes before a noun.
